Harbour House Contemporary Art & Wellbeing Centre
As part of a commission I did with Harbour House, Kingsbridge I held a collaborative large scale map-making workshop with local sixth form students. We created a chalkboard map to reflect on the students experience of their hometown and the summer programme they had created for their community. I drew on themes from my commission for the workshop by sourcing examples of ancient maps of ley lines and sacred sites in the south west. I also designed a clay activity for children and visitors that ran throughout the month-long exhibition that engaged with concepts of the show through physical making and tactile engagement.I wanted the activity to focus on the sense of touch, as the installation brought together sight / hearing / scent through the artworks.

VASW x Flamm
I was invited by Flamm and Visual Arts South West to design and facilitate a number of workshops for their How Can I Stay? Gathering event. The event aimed to support creative practitioners that live and work rurally. I collaborated with artist Rachel Coward to devise an interactive reflection and mapping session on establishing, and maintaining, careers in the creative industries in rural areas like Cornwall. The session can be tailored to those in education, post-graduation and at any point in their creative journey. We also came up with a resource sharing board for event attendees to offer their knowledge and experience of local organisations, funding, training and other useful tools and information.

Public speaking / Artist talks
I've been invited to speak at events about both my art practice and my experience of working in the arts industries, for organisations such as the University of the West of England and Cultivator, Cornwall. Below are images from an artist talk I did as part of a residency at Back Lane West project space in Redruth, funded by arts organisation CAMP. The residency was in collaboration with artist Phoebe Bray where we spoke about our collaborative art making, our processes and our plans for the final installation.
