ABOUT
I’m a freelance artist, arts producer and technician based in Cornwall. I enjoy creating artworks, events and installations using a variety of mediums from projection to bookworks - at present I am building my skills in welding, metalwork and enamelling. Collaboration is integral to my projects, often involving other artists, sound artists and DJs to create immersive events and experiences.
I’ve been involved in a range of arts projects, events, exhibitions and festivals in Cornwall and the southwest as an arts organiser, technician and workshop facilitator. I have experience in project planning and coordinating, live event production, art handling, exhibition installation, workshop facilitation, community engagement and the day to day running of projects and spaces. Within my artwork I’m interested in processes of transformation and how these can enable us to find new perspectives and alternative ways of thinking. Narrative building is embedded within my installations and weaves together my research, concepts and creations. I create mystical tales that explore strange happenings from tidal movements and geological processes to elemental change and magical occurrences. Similarly, I am excited by the alchemical abilities of materials in my creative process - whether it's enamelling, welding, darkroom photography or something new altogether.
